Hello Uplift Her Screener,
The wait is almost over. Uplift Her Women’s Wellness Day is THIS Saturday, September 27th at 10AM!
Get ready for a soul-nourishing experience designed to celebrate YOU. This is more than an event, it’s a movement to connect, inspire, and empower women through wellness, joy, and community.
Please review the important details below to ensure a smooth setup and successful event:

Date: September 27, 2025

Event Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: 12401 South Post Oak Road, Houston, TX 77045

Intention of Screenings

Our goal is to: gabretta.cooksey@uth.tmc.edu

  *   Promote preventative health awareness

  *   Provide accessible, on-the-spot screenings

  *   Encourage women to prioritize physical, emotional, and mental health

  *   Connect participants to ongoing wellness providers in the community

Screener Arrival & Setup

  *   Mobile Units: If you are bringing a mobile screening unit, please coordinate arrival and placement with the event team in advance.

  *   Friday Setup Option: Screeners & Vendors may set up their stations on Friday, September 26th, between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

  *   Day-of Arrival: If setting up on event day, please arrive by 6:00 AM to check in and complete your setup.

  *   Setup Deadline: All stations must be fully ready by 8:00 AM on Saturday, September 27th.

  *   Event Flow: Screenings will be available throughout the day from 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM.

Station Guidelines

  *   Space Limit: Each vendor will have a 1 table and 2 chairs. Please communicate if additional tables or chair will be needed.

  *   Accessibility: Ensure your station is inviting, accessible, and easy for participants to navigate.

  *   Educational Materials: Bring brochures, resources, or QR codes with additional information for attendees.

  *   Engagement: Actively engage participants with approachable conversation and clear instructions for screenings.

  *   Referrals: If applicable, provide next-step guidance or referrals for ongoing care.

Supplies & Materials

Please bring everything you need for your service or screening. Suggested items include:

  *   Screening tools (blood pressure cuffs, glucose meters, BMI scales, etc.)

  *   Sanitizing supplies and PPE (hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, gloves, masks)

  *   Tables, tablecloths, and chairs (unless pre-arranged with the event team)

  *   Signage for your station to clearly display your service

  *   Informational handouts, brochures, or digital QR codes for follow-up resources

  *   Optional: giveaways or sample items to encourage engagement

If you require additional support (tables, chairs, power outlets, etc.), please notify the event team by [September 15, 2025] so accommodations can be made.

Screening Orientation

All screeners and vendors are required to attend a Screening Orientation to review procedures, flow, and safety protocols:

  *   Virtual: Wednesday, September 24 at 4:00 PM CST (Virtual Link Click  to Join!<http://meet.google.com/nio-ukgx-ykf>)

  *   In-Person Orientation: Thursday, September 25 at 6:30 PM

  *   Access details will be emailed separately. Attendance ensures smooth coordination on the event day.

Parking & Logistics

  *   Parking: Complimentary parking is available.

  *   Breaks & Refreshments: Screeners will have access to the VIP Lounge throughout the day for relaxation, networking, and refreshments.

  *   Maps & Assignments: You will receive a map and your table assignment two weeks before the event.
