2021 Annual Holiday Scholarship

 Application due date: Sunday, November 28, 2021

Calling ALL STUDENTS! Our Annual Holiday Scholarship Application opened on June 18, 2021. Please review the following information and APPLY today.

  1. Deadline for scholarship application is Sunday, November 30, 2021, at NOON. (no exceptions)
  2. Refer to application process below for a list of the supporting documents needed (i.e. reference letter, transcript, etc.) Incomplete applications will not be considered.
  3. If any question does not apply to you in this application please put N/A in the space.
  4. Type or print legibly. Illegible applications will be returned to you.
  5. If you have any questions about the application, please contact NBNPA scholarship committee at nbnpas@gmail.com, in subject line please type "ATTN Scholarship Committee".
  6. Scholarship Winner/Winners will be announced December 4, 2021 via our social platform.

 

  CRITERIA

  • Applicants must be accepted and have completed at least 1 semester in an accredited nurse practitioner/DNP/PhD program and maintain a 3.00 GPA. If scholarship funds are awarded, this is the only program that will receive the funds on behalf of the applicant
  • All Student members are encouraged to apply, both members and non members will be considered 
  • Submit a scholarship application
  • Submit official transcript with the university seal
  • Submit 1 academic reference from an academic professor
  • Submit an essay (minimum 3 pages, maximum 5 pages) of how you will contribute to the vision and mission of NBNPA and identify financial hardships that may impede your educational goals
  • Submit the mailing address of your academic institution fiscal office for scholarship payment
  • Must be a citizen of the United States or a lawful permanent resident

  • The deadline for the scholarship application is Sunday, November 28, 2021.

  • If awarded a scholarship, applicants will be notified at the annual scholarship event.
